The veteran forward and the Mavericks have agreed to a new four-year, $90-million contract, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Washington, 27, is entering the final year of a three-year, $46.5-million contract he had originally signed with the Charlotte Hornets. He was traded to the Mavericks at the deadline in 2024.
Washington appeared in 57 games for the Mavericks last season and averaged 14.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
