The New York Jets decided to address their biggest need this summer after seeing how much potential this team had during the 2022 NFL season.
The one major piece missing for the Jets during the 2022 campaign was a reliable quarterback under center, with Zach Wilson and Mike White unable to shoulder the load and take this team to the next level.
As a result, the team pulled off a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers to acquire four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers, which immediately made the Jets a contender in a highly competitive AFC.
Along with Rodgers’ resume speaking for itself as he’s easily a first-ballot Hall of Famer and one of the best quarterbacks in league history, the veteran has one stat that doesn’t even seem real.
According to Sunday Night Football on NBC, Rodgers has the best interception percentage in NFL history, as he’s only thrown 105 interceptions in his career on 7,660 passes, which comes in at an incredible 1.37%.

Although some have debated whether Rodgers has anything left in the tank, a superstar quarterback as efficient as this doesn’t need to address his critics or doubters, as he’s shown that he, more often than not, makes the right decisions on the football field.
The real question moving forward for the Jets is whether the offensive line is good enough to get Rodgers ample time to make things happen in New York, as he won’t be anywhere near as effective if he’s got no time when he drops back to pass.
