Nick Bosa Reveals His Expectations For This Season

The 2025 NFL season has nearly arrived, and the year will kick off with an epic divisional battle between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.

There are a lot of exciting matchups in Week 1 of the new season, which includes another divisional contest between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.

Both teams are ready to go and want to start the season with a 1-0 record, which would give them a lot of confidence moving forward, rather than making up a deficit.

One of the most impactful players on either side of the ball in this matchup is Nick Bosa, a defensive force who can wreak havoc on opposing teams and completely change the course of a game.

Bosa is primed up and ready to make his impact known, wanting to create a legacy for himself, which he noted in a recent interview shared by “OurSF49ers” on X.

“I’ve reached the pinnacle of success. I’ve won Defensive Player of the Year. I just want to be dominant. I want to be really thought of as one of the best — that’s what you look for in this league,” Bosa said.

As Bosa talked about, he has already achieved so much success and so many accolades in this league, but now he wants to be given the respect he believes he deserves.

In his mind, there are still players viewed as better than him in the eyes of fans and the media, and he’d love nothing more than to change that this season.

The 49ers are certainly a matchup nightmare for opposing offenses, and if they can stay healthy, they could be a Super Bowl contender down the stretch with Bosa as the cornerstone of their defense.
