As one of the most popular professional sports teams in the world, the Dallas Cowboys get a lot of attention for better or for worse every single year, and this year has been no different as the hype train has been full steam ahead.

With linebacker Micah Parsons turning into one of the best defensive players in the league over the last two years, the Cowboys defense is considered to be among the league’s elite heading into the 2023 NFL season, which obviously comes with a fair amount of pressure and expectations.

However, this kind of hype can lead to some believing it’s a little too much, especially when it comes to the Cowboys, who get hyped up whether the team is good or bad to start a season.

One wide receiver who knows the Cowboys all too well due to his time playing for teams in the NFC East is Golden Tate.

Tate thinks the Cowboys are way “overhyped” and are a team that never seems to deliver, as he’s not buying it this year for America’s Team, as he told Chase Daniel, via JPA Football.

Obviously, the Cowboys have yet to play a single snap and will have their opportunity to prove their doubters wrong during the 2023 campaign, as they will get started against the New York Giants on the road in Week 1.

It’ll be interesting to see if Parsons and company can live up to the hype and if Dak Prescott can keep putting points on the board to support what could be the league’s best defense.
